Construction of the memorial base
Typically, the most important element of a grave/memorial is the base and it is constructed first. A good base will insure high quality and durability of all future works at the grave site. Thus, first we built a concrete reinforced plinth which later is coated/revetment by basalt, granite or other frost resistant materials.

Armenian weather is very harsh, and temperature fluctuates greatly this is the reason that in Armenia, most commonly used grave and memorial cladding material is basalt which absorbs less heat and provides high quality necessary durability.

Other stone tiles and facing materials are often used in large non-standard memorial complexes. In this case the tiles can be matched by color in accordance with the design of the memorial complex and landscape, it is important to note that the tiles have to be monolithic and frost resistant.
In Armenia the grave base walls are also caddied by tiles made of natural granite. But such a tile is usually used in large, complex projects. It goes perfectly with the grave kerb sets and other items from granite (Such as a tombstones or vases), they are also very durable. However, they are heavier which must be accounted during the construction process.

Around the base is also recommended to blind a flat area - about 10-30 cm this will reinforced the base and the facing. This also gives an additional esthetic look to the grave and the memorial complex and it looks more accurate and complete, moreover it also has some practical implications - as it helps to remove the rain water.
People who are living in other cities/counties who can't take constant care of their relative's graves, often prefer concrete floor and laying the tiles inside the concrete base. This is particularly useful because no weeds will grow inside the grave, and the monument will always be neat and tidy.
We also provide restoration works for old grave bases. If the base is
in good condition we reinforce it with new layer of concrete and cover
by material of your choice. However, if the base is cracked or is
missing some parts in this case we must dig dipper to install new
steel reinforcement and concrete.
Warranty
on resorted bases the same as on new ones - 5 years.
The cost of restoration is determined locally. It depends on the state of the grave and the amount of work required. Our experienced engineer will attend the burial place to advise regarding the implementation of the necessary work and costs.
